Description
Pamix 17 is a chloride-free aqueous-solution admixture formulated to regulate cement hydration in concrete. It can be used to stabilise the hydration of the mix from hours to days, depending on the dosage, without affecting the final behaviour of the hardened concrete. Depending on its dosage it complies with ASTM C494/C 494M for type B admixtures.
Recommended applications
Concrete of any type where the mix needs to be stabilised, whether for transport or for placement time on site.

Dosage
Reference dosage 1cc to 15 cc per kg of cementitious material
The recommended dosage is between: 1cc to 15 cc per kg of cementitious material; to define the appropriate dosage, consult your trusted advisor at PAMIX INTERNATIONAL, S.A., who will make a suggestion according to the use of the concrete; nevertheless, it is advisable to run trials with all the materials to be used in the concrete mix design, taking into account ambient conditions, transport time and placement time of the concrete on site.

To minimise the problems that arise when ambient or concrete temperatures are high, follow the recommendations of the current ACI 305R, “Hot Weather Concreting”. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before use.
Compatibility
Pamix 17 is effective as part of a system with other admixtures in the Pamix line; it is added to the mix independently of other admixtures.
Packaging
Pamix 17 is supplied in bulk, in 208 L drums and in 1000 litre containers.
The admixture should be kept closed and sealed at all times in its original containers, in a roofed store protected from the weather.
Shelf life
12 months in the original unopened container.
