PAMIX 2260 Cement

Description

PAMIX 2260 Cement., is a liquid admixture formulated to optimise grinding efficiency in cement mills, improve particle dispersion and boost cement performance. It is designed specifically for cement plants seeking to increase productivity without excessively raising Blaine fineness.

Recommended applications

• Increase mill output (5–20%).
• Reduce specific energy consumption (kWh/t).
• Improve the particle size distribution.
• Optimise early strength without affecting performance at 28 days.
• Allow set control in hot climates.

Dosage

Reference dosage 0.02% - 0.15% by weight of cement (200 – 1500 g/t)

0.02% - 0.15% by weight of cement (200 – 1500 g/t). The optimum dosage must be determined through plant trials.

Compatibility

Compatible with Portland clinker, gypsum, limestone, granulated slag and pozzolans. It does not interfere with admixtures used later in the concrete.

Mechanism of action

It works by reducing electrostatic agglomeration between fine particles, lowering internal coating of the mill and improving separator efficiency. It favours more stable grinding and a more controlled particle size curve.

Estimated economic benefits

Under conservative conditions, a production increase of 5–10% can be achieved without raising fineness above 4,500 cm²/g. This represents direct improvements in EBITDA through lower energy cost and increased tonnes shipped.

Packaging

Pamix 2260 Cement is supplied in bulk and in 1,000 litre containers.

The admixture should be kept closed and sealed at all times in its original containers, in a roofed store protected from the weather

Shelf life

12 months in the original unopened container.
